About

WHO IS A CREATIVE?

A creative /noun/: an innovative individual; a creator  - someone who turns their passion into a profession.  An individual who is unique; a thoughtful leader who takes risks and sets new standards to follow in their field, because he or she sees the world a little differently than others. One who creates to make a difference, and to share their gifts and ideas with the world.

ABOUT THE EVENT

The Young Creatives Market is a youth run and curated pop up market and expo, that is geared towards highlighting and promoting the work of young Nigerian creatives under the age of 35. Participating vendors represent a large range of industries including but not limited to haircare, beauty, skincare, fitness, health, fashion, photography, culinary, and so on. This provides attendees with an incredible shopping experience that allows them to purchase a variety of products and services from various small businesses.

In addition to featuring vendors, the event also consists of panels, workshops, demonstrations, performances, music, and other amenities throughout the day to maximize engagement, learning, attendance, and sales.

ABOUT THE DIRECTORY

We also run a central digital database that spotlights young creatives in various industries. We believe strongly in the concept of collaboration amongst peers. As such, the directory serves as an effective resource that connects the world to young Nigerian creatives, and connects young creatives with potential partners, collaborators, customers, and opportunities.
